Frequently
Asked Questions
Isn't a physical exam needed to determine
if I should receive these medications?
If you have had a physical exam recently and consider yourself healthy,
you do not necessarily require another physical exam in order for
you to obtain some of the medications we offer. Thousands of psychiatrists
and general practitioners throughout the U.S. are prescribing certain
medications after only reviewing the patient's medical history,
without a physical exam. The medical factors that would prohibit
a physician from prescribing these medications are discoverable
through a review of the patient's medical history. There is no reason
to suggest that an in-person review of this history is any more
relevant than an online consultation.
How Does An Online Consultation Work?
Online consultations are a new concept in health care that utilize
the Internet to improve patient access to physician care. The patient
does not receive a traditional physical exam by the physician, but
rather completes an online questionnaire and communicates with the
physician using our secure online communication tool. Although online
consultations will never take the place of traditional medicine,
they do provide a means for patients to receive treatment for a
limited number of conditions that, in certain circumstances, may
not require a physical exam.
How Do I Place An Order?
When you click an Order link, you will be taken to our secure server
where you will set up your account. You will answer an online questionnaire
to provide information relevant to your medical condition. Once
you complete the questionnaire, you will see a confirmation page
to review your answers for accuracy. At this point, you will submit
your order for processing.
What Happens Once I Submit My Order?
A US licensed physician will review the information you have submitted
and either approve or decline your request. If approved, the physician
will write the prescription and send it to the pharmacy where it
will be filled and shipped to you via FedEx. Your prescription will
include information explaining the usage, dose, and precautionary
information for your medication. You will also receive contact information
for the pharmacist in case you have any questions after you receive
your medication. After placing your order you will be able to track
it's process in real-time by logging into the help desk. When your
order ships, the FedEx tracking number will be e-mailed to you so
you may track its progress through the FedEx system.
